Who Are We?
Alastair Morrison van Huyssteen established his law firm in 1993, following a distinguished tenure as a director and co-head of the High Court Department at one of Cape Town's oldest law firms. Today, the practice operates with a refined, boutique approach, merging over four decades of commercial and civil litigation experience with modern, international corporate sophistication.
The firm's leadership combines the seasoned High Court authority of Alastair Morrison van Huyssteen with the dedicated, solution-focused expertise of Christiaan-Botha van Huyssteen. Christiaan-Botha’s legal career has developed across a range of practice areas, including family law, dispute resolution, and commercial and contractual work. He holds a BCom (Law) and LLB and is an Admitted Attorney of the High Court of South Africa.
Beyond his primary legal practice, Christiaan-Botha has developed meaningful experience in client relationship management and operational delivery within regulated environments, including corporate services and governance administration within SANNE (now Apex Group). This background allows him to manage complex, cross-border client relationships and bring a commercially aware, internationally exposed perspective to every matter he handles.
